Why do we need an air-conditioner

As an artificial way of air ventilation, air-conditioner helps to keep the air inside clearer and cleaner. The sense of our well being is highly related to air temperature, humidity and cleanness of the air. The negative effect that the bad ventilation of the area makes is bigger than the one of the air atmosphere. This is due to the fact that our area contains quite a few pollution sources, such as aerosols and domestic chemicals as well as TV-sets, computers and domestic technical equipment.

Air-conditioners contain different filters - a primary cleaning filter with bacteria removal device and a carbon filter. A primary cleaning filter holds the extra tiny air particles and it can be used numerous times. The carbon filter fumigates unpleasant smells, such as the ones of cigarette fumes, food, etc. Recent air-conditioners are even more modern with integrated functions of HEPA, electrostatic and carbon filters. As modern air-conditioners are produced on the basis of natural tea leaves filling, they are effective in air bacteria removal. Electrostatic filter holds the dust particles and plant dust as well as helps to freshen up the air inside.

Why do we need an air-conditioner

Modern houses, offices, conference rooms and hotels have built-in convector systems which are used for cooling and heating. In order to perform the heating function, these are connected to the boiler-room of the building and used instead of radiators, whereas to get the cooling function in the area these are connected to the water cooling machine.

What is more, it should be noted that a small air-conditioner in a bathroom, WC or a kitchen will not solve the ventilation issues. Normally, the ventilator is not capable of moving a larger amount of air. Most often, the bathroom doors are hermetic and even if the air-conditioner is on, the air cannot get through in order to be moved. The traction starts only when the doors are at least slightly open. Thus, the isolated air-conditioners are less effective.

How does the air-conditioner affect our body? Air-conditioner should be used in accordance with a sensible temperature set up in order to avoid a large temperature contrast which can make negative effect on our mucous eyes membrane as well as breathing. It is also advised to go for the air-conditioners which transmit a smaller amount of noise and contain toxic free materials.Air-conditioners can be found in different types, including built-in to the windows, mural ones, mobile ones, convector ones, high-output ones, etc.

So what are the functions of the air-conditioner? The main task of the air-conditioner is to cool the air inside. Though, it can also perform the heating, drying and ventilation functions. It should be noted that air-conditioner devices are normally used for the summer season, though modern ones also have an integrated winter mode which indicates under which temperature it should be used. More simple conditioners are used for heating when the temperature outside is from 10 to minus 5 degree Celsius. If the temperature is lower, the air-conditioner should not be used as it cannot receive the heat from the atmosphere whereas the inside heating operation will not be economic. What is more, when the temperature is lower, the use of the conditioner increases the abrasion many times; the lubricant gets more condensed loosing its characteristics, etc.

The air-conditioner will be a reliable as well as long-term cooling or heating device if its being kept to the highest standard, i.e. the dust is being constantly wiped for the inner and outside surface blocks, condensate tube; the check is being made on the electrical part of the device as well as the operation modes. The inner block filters should be cleaned in no less than every two weeks.
