Sliding systems help to create our home interior design in a way it meets our aesthetic and physical needs.  As sliding systems are not only functional but also practical in terms of space saving, it can be used for different purposes - anywhere from lobby, bedroom or sitting room to kitchen, garage or children's room.

Sliding systems can be defined as the type of systems which have a sliding table as its basis to enclose the area. The most popular sliding systems are sliding doors for closets, wardrobes and dividers. Sliding doors can be made of a few materials, amongst the most popular ones are made of steel or aluminium frames together with different aggregates and its combinations. The advantage of steel systems is its price, whereas the advantage of aluminium systems is its quality.

The choice of aggregates for the sliding doors is just great as it brings originality and coziness to your home environment. You can go for silver or bronze mirrors, painted, varnished or figured glass, laminated wood panels; glass covered with multi-coloured transparent, frosted or figured wraps, plastic or panels covered with wall drapes from natural vegetative fibre or substitutes for leather.

Sliding doors can be used for internal doors, external doors, and individual doors. The most critical part of the sliding door which needs to be selected carefully is the sliding door track as it should carry the required weight.

Closets with sliding doors are one of the examples of sliding systems.

Closet is a small room, which can be as storage of things that you do not use on a daily basis (e.g. to keep the clothes of the previous season) or even as a small private office for studies. Normally, the closet takes the area of 5-8 m2, though it can be either bigger or smaller depending on the size of the area.  The size of the rooms will have influence on how much space you will give for the closet.

The advantage of the closet is that it helps you save the space and time - it is easier to find the things you need when they are all stored in one place, thus, there is more space left in the rooms itself. The classical example of the closet is when the bathroom takes you to a room, where you can find everything at hand, though closets can also be built in a separate room as well. If there is a closet in a small flat, it can help to dispose of wardrobes in even a few rooms. The practical solution is the closet, build in a niche, area under the staircase or in the loft.

Normally, closets contain handy shelve systems of different depths, light-weigh baskets, hangings as well blocks of spacious drawers suitable for clothes, footwear and other domestic things. The closet can also contain a place for a hoover, ironing board, ladders, tie holder, trouser's rack, bedding box. It is more convenient to build shelves for the beddings on the top and the bottom parts. It will be undoubtedly handy if your closet also contains a big mirror and a stylish lighting.

Another example of sliding systems is a wardrobe, one of the most important furniture pieces of the bedroom. Sometimes it happens that there are too many things in the room, so the best wardrobe is the one which is functional and spacious. It should have enough space for keeping footwear, beddings and other domestic things. On the other hand, it should take not only little space but also make a harmonious combination with the home interior. Thus, sliding doors is the way to meet all of these requirements.

Sliding wardrobe doors usually consist of timber panels supported by a sliding door gear - fixed wheels in steel channels. Correctly fitted wheels ensure that the sliding doors will function quietly and smoothly. You could easily go for the sliding doors as they are quite simple to design in the bedroom layout and useful in situations when your space is restricted for opening doors. What is more, the sliding doors can be built in wardrobes at any depth whereas a wall of mirrors on the wardrobes can make the impression of a bigger room.

And what about dividers with moving doors? Divider is not only a functional and durable but also aesthetic and original element of your interior design.

Sliding dividers are made from aluminium profiles with metal bearing castors. Aluminium profile doors can help to enclose kitchens, bedrooms, working areas and at the same time keep the integrity in your living space. Normally there are no limits for the height and the width of doors. If the height of the area is big enough, the parts of a divider can be designed one on the top of the other, by designing the stationary parts on the top. The sliding doors of dividers can move in the principle of a special castor on the floor or even on the top of the construction. The system can also contain the locking of the system.

Thus, sliding systems is a step towards a contemporary interior design which is a gurantee of good taste and quality.
